Jay is now working on 6-7 new songs, including a couple of covers. As before the songs are recorded organically in the studio together with producer Alexander Asp on bass and guitars, Jay on vocals, drums, percussion and occasionally some keyboard, plus additional musicians/vocalists on keyboard, congas, backing vocals and horns. Don't miss the new songs FUNKY RHINO, HANG TIGHT, and PEACH. Two or three new singles will be released leading up to his upcoming full-length debut album.

Jay was mentioned in Sweden's second largest newspaper, Expressen! It was the legendary music journalist Mats Olsson who mentioned his latest single in the Weekend edition of the paper. This is what he wrote: “… Hip! Jay Korner His real name is Johan Körner, but he calls himself Jay Korner when he makes super-groovy soul and funk. There are three songs on Spotify, all of them good, but above all the latest one, “High on Life,” makes it impossible to sit still. It has the scent of the ’70s—nothing wrong with that.” Thanks for the kind words Mats!!
